A rare and powerfully charged Phra Sri Salang Ngang amulet, created and consecrated by the late Ajarn Pornsit, one of the most respected masters of Lanna sorcery, who passed away during the COVID-19 era. His work blended classical Northern Thai and Shaivic esoteric lineages, and surviving examples like this are seldom seen.
In the occult Buddhist and Shaivic traditions of Southeast Asia, Phra Sri Salang Ngang is regarded as a commanding spiritual general—believed to oversee the Prai Ngang (ghost Ngang) hosts under Lord Yama, the deva of death and karma. He is said to bring order, power, and vitality to one’s spiritual court and to magnify the energies of attraction, protection, and transformation.
As my own practice has deepened, I’ve come to understand Ngang as an expression of the Shaivic fire current—a raw, creative, and purifying force that burns away illusion and re-animates dormant power. This amulet carries that unmistakable current.
