Description
A powerful and beautifully inscribed Pha Yant (sacred cloth) from Ajarn San Khong Wet, depicting a Lersi hermit-sage holding a Sak Yant tattoo stick — symbol of the mystical lineage of yantra tattooing and ritual empowerment in Thai esoteric tradition.
Among Thailand’s pantheon of 108 Lersi, the figure shown here represents the Hermit-Master of Tattooing, guardian of sacred scripts and patron of tattoo artists (ajarn sak yant) who channel mantras through the needle. In Thai lore, such Lersi are invoked for mastery, authority, protection, and attraction, empowering both the tattooist and the wearer of sacred marks.
This vibrant red cloth version bears clear yantra inscriptions (yant) and protective blessings from Ajarn San Khong Wet, consecrated during the Wai Kru (teacher-honoring) ceremony — a yearly rite in which masters recharge their lineage power and transmit it to their disciples.
